Keyboard ignored temporarily until consumer_key_code:menu pressed again issue #1312

Sorry, I'm not used to using github, so this is likely in a non-standard format.

macOS version: 13.1
Karabiner-Elements version: 14.11.0
Hardware: 14-inch MacBook Pro M1 Max 64GB ram
Keyboard hardware: Apple Magic Keyboard with touch ID (the smaller non-numeric keypad version)

My keyboard stopped working this morning and did not work again until I physically plugged it in via USB.

While it was inoperative, the following Karabiner message appeared on my screen "Magic Keyboard with Touch ID is ignored temporarily until {"consumer_key_code":"menu"} is pressed again". I was not actively trying to use a Karabiner feature and was just typing text into Adobe InDesign and noticed that my keyboard stopped working.

After installing Karabiner-Elements, the only modification I made to its settings was to add "Change caps_lock to command+control+option+shift"... it is otherwise running under default settings.

How can I avoid having my keyboard become inoperative in the future since I won't always have the USB charging cord with me?
