The Dygma Raise keyboard has it's own software for customizing the keyboard output (https://github.com/Dygmalab/Bazecor), the configuration of which it stores in the keyboard itself.

However, when Karabiner-Elements is running, the customization for the left spacebar on Dygma Raise is no longer respected. No matter what you have configured there, when Karabiner-Elements is running, it will always output spacebar (and not return_or_enter as I have configured it). And there is no way in Karabiner-Elements to differentiate between the two space bars.

Other keys customizations don't appear to be affected.

  • macOS version: Catalina 10.15.3 (19D76)
  • Karabiner version: 12.9.0
  • Your Mac hardware: MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports)
  • Your keyboard hardware: https://www.dygma.com

Ah, never mind: The error was on my part in my Karabiner-Elements config.
