Update Ubuntu version to latest rather than stucking on old one

which ubuntu version you want? Specify the codename.

Ubuntu 20.04 gui

It's not in my hand to upgrade ubuntu version since it is a container running on google compute engine. You can upgrade the dist yourself but it takes a long time. Current Ubuntu version is 18.04 on google colab.

If you are looking to change desktop environment to gnome or something else that is possible but I would say stick to current environment.
