listTrim differs from the official syntax LTRIM

I found that LTRIM is implemented as listTrim, but only by looking at the source. I propose one of the following:
changing it to ltrim
having redundancy and supporting both methods, or
prominently displaying this discrepancy somewhere in the introductory documentation.
