We use Presto 0.24 and find that ACL for hdfs directory is not correct. For example, Hive database is called db, and user A and B are both administrators for this database. Use A create template table called db.tmp_tbl. When B want to query the table db.tmp_tbl, it will failed.

The ACLs of the path is 'A:supergroup:-rw-rw----', which means user 'A' and group 'supergroup' can read and write, otherwise can do nothing.
Maybe you should check if user B is one of group 'supergroup' in hdfs ACLs.
