Describe the bug

Triggering focus by clicking on inputs with the same value doesn't always trigger a highlight while using highlight-on-focus prop

Steps to reproduce the behavior

Try clicking between inputs with the same value then with different values.
On inputs with the same value highlight on focus works every second time

Expected behavior
