I'd love to use this project as a base for my development. You clearly put work into doing a clean implementation to keep licensing issues to a minimum, but you have not declared any license for the code you have written. Could you add a comment stating what license the code is under?

The files written that were from scratch by me are meant to be public domain, most important ones are the startup and systeminit code (this file has a public domain license header) and the makefile (this has no header but I also meant it to be public domain, the makefile is probably so trivial that it needs no license anyway.
The other files (stm32 register defines and arm core files) are taken from ST and ARM and have their own original license header left untouched.
