All translations are welcome to be submitted on our transifex project, but before you go and they will be accepted, please follow these simple steps:

How to contribute

  1. Have a look at projectfork project on transifex if there is already a translation in your language.
  • If your language exist, feel free to join the translation team.
  • If your language doesn't exist, feel free to create the language.

Note: To submit something to transifex, you need an account. If you don't have an account, simply register one - its free!

  1. First time logging in...
  • ...join a language team (normally your language you want to contribute)
  • ...after accepting you start with point 3 Please note: It may take some time to add you to the appropriate language team!
  1. Lets start to translate Projecfork files...
  • ...click at your language,
  • ...click the desired file.
  1. Now click on "Translate now" to start translating

This should be sufficient to know about the common functions and how to translate files to your language.

Translated language files were pulled from transifex to github repository in a non-periodic cycle

Related to the file size of the main project maybe for further releases it is planned to zip translations in a separate installable language package or in single language packages.

Updates on transifex

  • Resources on transifex will be automatically updated every few hours. (at this time: the source language files "en-GB" from the github master branch will be used for merging)

Updates on github

  • at this time: Manual updates from transifex.
  • therefore: Only languages with at least 20% will be merged with the dev/master branch.
