Why is Proton vpn blocked on laptop at school?

I just get an error which I find odd but what i can tell you is that the school blocked it.

Info: Hp Probook x360 (school laptop) and the network I'm using in for is schoool wifi (District_devices) It words with other small vpn like speedify, but not proton

Probably because the school laptop blocked Proton
but they didn't know about speedify.

Probably because the school laptop blocked Proton but they didn't know about speedify.

If thats so, I've seen some big popular VPN providers not have connection blocked, was able to get around it with TOR
