Displaying your own messages in the Inbox

This an often requested feature, but actually Thunderbird has enough to enable it without using my extension. Here are the instructions:

From View menu, select Folders > Unified to switch to “Unified folders” mode. This will show you virtual composite folders in the folder pane (left part of the screen).
Right-click Inbox, then select Properties.
Click the “Choose…” button.
Select all of your “Sent” folders.
Click ok twice.

Voilà, now you’re done, and the Unified Inbox will also display the messages you sent.
