An easier way to create modifiers on a model

Describe the solution you'd like
I couldn't find an existing feature request. Much like the brush on seams/supports, an option to paint the area of the model and then use that area as a shape modifier.

Describe how it would work
Have an option to paint an area of the model that will then be used as a shape modifier.
