Rather than being a boon, #56 ended up causing smoketesters to fail -- on some versions, the zipfile download failed (with the unhelpful error of '<undef>'); but on newer versions, that download apparently didn't fail, but the notepad++ executable wasn't available to the smoketester.
I either need to revert this (so that it's always NA rather than FAIL), or I need to actually include pared-down 32bit and 64bit NPP portable versions sufficient to run everything

releasing v0.006001, which uses AUTOMATED_CI_TESTING instead of AUTOMATED_TESTING as the variable, so smoke testers (for now) won't try to download and will properly set NA after 00-load.t like they did for v0.005 and earlier. (This is the "revert" option from above.)
Later, I still want to investigate a long-term solution of including npp executables in the distro.
