Whether this is another button in the file manager or just a renaming of the existing button, it's unclear.

I can do this, but need more clarification on what the use cases are for downloading the full-res image in this context. Why would people need to do this?

The button is currently "Replace or delete file" — user didn't know they could download full resolution image from there and didn't want to modify the file. Maybe "View Details" or "View/Change" would be better?

Yes, I understand. I'm wondering why someone wants to download the full res file here in the first place. Is this for "copies/e-commerce" fulfillment?

Yes.

Also, I believe this is the only way to download the original file — the viewer will let you download a high-res JPEG, but not a TIFF, for example.

Putting this functionality behind the filemanager strikes me as poor design for this use case. Does this mean that folks in eCommerce fulfillment will have rights to rearrange and relabel works?

@sdellis That sounds like a separate ticket, along the lines of "Fulfillers should be able to download original files without using the file manager" — I'm not sure what the solution to that is, but I agree it's an issue we should address.

Right now fulfillers are asking someone who has access. Basically this is just the only way to see the files individually so the link is there.

Ok, I understand that this is a temporary workaround. Roel suggested "Manage Files". I think that is broad enough to cover it.

@escowles in reply to your last comment, I spec'd out a whole eCommerce system at one point that got shelved because we were finally able to get Aeon eCommerce working (which was the immediate need). Patrons should ultimately be able to request downloads/copies from any of our public-facing interfaces, which means this functionality should probably end up as some kind of a web service.
