This issue is mainly for me to track product changes that will impact docs.

Names

  • Names of products (managed service)
  • CLI name (pulumi invocation)
  • package names (how you reference them from npm, how you reference in your code)

Terminology

  • "Pulumi program" vs something else

CLI functionality

  • --local requirement for pulumi stack init
  • pulumi init
  • Verbs for config

Stack identity

  • How is a local stack identified?

Config

  • How to use config in your code
  • How to define config in config file(s)
  • How to create a secret value

Closing this out as most of the items have been resolved. Remaining is the CLI commands around selecting a stack, and we'll create new work items once there is an implementation.
