If puma is started as a daemon (parameter -d), the state contains an incorrect PID and pumactrl cannot control the server using the state file (parameter -S).

Version: 2.0.0.b6

Version 2.0.0.b6, as I wrote in the issue text. ;-)

You mean the closed issue #180. Unfortunatelly, it is not fixed.

But I cannot verify the version of puma directly. If I run 'puma
--version' it writes 'puma: version unknown'.

But "gem list puma" returns:

puma (2.0.0.b6)

Hence, the bug #180 is not fully fixed.

A bug that sounds just like this was fixed in b5. What version did you try with?
