php-fpm won't load

Vagrant server installed fine.
WordPress/PHP installed on that server not working because it can't run php-fpm, which results in 503 Service unavailable error.

$ /usr/sbin/php-fpm
[21-May-2018 14:08:42] ERROR: failed to open error_log (/var/log/php-fpm.log): Permission denied (13)
[21-May-2018 14:08:42] ERROR: failed to post process the configuration
[21-May-2018 14:08:42] ERROR: FPM initialization failed
