would be great to re-import exported manifest files so one can update the settings and export it again

@jtreminio have you already recognized the dumped puphpet.json in the file archive? I primarily added it to be able to debug user configuration better but we could use this file for this feature now.
We would need for this the possibility to upload those puphpet.json files and merge its configuration with the one of the edition. This won't work until the main form reads the pre-selection from the edition.
I thought we would need to store the user configurations to some database but this is not the case. We just need to stay with those files.

Which approach should we go? Re-import the puphpet.json file (the client way) or save user configuration to the system somewhere (the server way)?

This is now possible with v2 and the Hiera yaml file.

Will be adding upload and/or paste area soon!
