Hello, I love that you create a separate release to enable people to download cuBLAS/cuDNN, which makes it easier than having to install them like you normally would have to. This makes the entire thing packagable. However, can we please get instructions on which specific files are necessary, and how to use updated versions?

For example:

  1. Your release contains cublasLt64_11.dll, cublas64_11.dll, cudnn_ops_infer64_8.dll, and cudn_cnn_infer64_8.dll. However, there are multiple versions of cuDNN alone. See here. https://developer.nvidia.com/rdp/cudnn-archive What version of cuDNN did you extract these files from? Same question regarding what version of cuBLAS? Same question regarding PyTorch as well?

  2. If I've installed cuBLAS, cuDNN, and PyTorch on my computer already, can I run your program without placing the above files in the whisper-faster directory?

  3. If your versions of cuBLAS, cuDNN and/or PyTorch that you put in the "release" are older, or I like a different version...Can I simply locate the files mentioned above on my computer (e.g. cublas64_11.dll), copy them to the whisper-faster directory, and have it work just the same? Same thing with cuDNN and PyTorch?

Perhaps your repository could include instructions on how to do this. For example, "If you already have CUDA/cuBLAS/cuDNN/PyTorch installed and want to utilize those versions and not the ones in my releases...Here is how to search for the relevant files (e.g. cublas64_11.dll) so you can copy and paste your specific version to the whisper-faster directory." Just a hope.
