Advantages:

Can use CVODE (and perhaps IDA) with sparse jacobian: https://jmodelica.org/assimulo/EXAMPLE_cvode_with_jac_sparse.html
Windows support
can do discontinuous problems

think that #633 will be much better than using assimulo, so closing
