The Download link at http://pycurl.io/ does not work:

% curl -f https://dl.bintray.com/pycurl/pycurl/pycurl-7.43.0.6.tar.gz
curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found

Same problem as previously reported in issue #590.

Any changes ? It can't be downloaded from github neither.

I set up bintray because there were legacy binaries that were hosted on sourceforge. But is there actually a need to host files anywhere other than pypi?

You should update http://pycurl.io then. It provides the broken link.

If pypi provides persistent download links for source tarballs, it should work for Fedora. We are currently downloading source tarballs directly from Github, which is not optimal. For example, it forces us to run python setup.py docstrings during the build. GPG signatures of pycurl releases would be also appreciated.
