PEP 541: Transfer ownership of wafw00f #5829
Comments
Yes, this needs to be resolved ASAP. There is a lot of activity on the repository on GitHub (high number of daily visits and clones), so I guess there are a lot of people using this tool. I have emailed @akun myself too and have not received any responses till today. |
I've also reached out to @akun at the email address we have on file for that account (which matches the email address published for the github profile). To qualify as an abandoned project for PEP 541 purposes, the last release needs to be more than 12 months ago, and we're not quite there yet. The github account has no activity for this year, however. |
@sandrogauci @0xInfection @jamadden how to transfer it? |
@sandrogauci I added your username |
Thanks @akun ! I'm going to close this issue then |
I would like to take ownership of the PyPi package wafw00f which was originally registered by a contributor Akun (https://github.com/akun) on PyPi, who is not responding to my emails nor keeping the releases updated.
The PyPi package is still at v0.9.5 released Jun 14, 2018 while we released v0.9.6 on Feb 20 and more recently v1.0.0 (9 days ago).
My PyPi (and Github) username is sandrogauci.
