Sorry for submitting so many issues recently, but I ran into an error when trying to run momepy.Tessellation that I have been unable to decipher and any help in diagnosing would be greatly appreciated!
it will run for ~fifteen minutes (on data with 81277 buildings and 5731 enclosures, so taking a while is expected) before failing with IndexError: index 0 is out of bounds for axis 0 with size 0. I unfortunately haven't been able to reproduce the error, so assume it must be some quirk of my data, but I haven't been able to find anything obviously wrong – buildings and enclosures all look as expected and the uIDs for the buildings are all valid.
The full traceback is below – I'm fairly sure that the many SettingWithCopyWarnings are fine (or at least have appeared previously when successfully running mm.Tessellation, but I've included them below for completeness' sake and on the off chance they are related to the error.

Thanks. It is super helpful that you're doing it. Just to check before I'll try to debug it - do you have any buildings which are not within enclosures?

momepy.Tessellation fails with IndexError
BUG: momepy.Tessellation fails with IndexError
Aug 3, 2021
Hmm, I am not able to reproduce this. If you are not able to create a reproducible example, can you pass me your data and Jupyter notebook (via Teams somehow)?
Sorry for submitting so many issues recently, but I ran into an error when trying to run
momepy.Tessellation
that I have been unable to decipher and any help in diagnosing would be greatly appreciated! When I run
it will run for ~fifteen minutes (on data with 81277 buildings and 5731 enclosures, so taking a while is expected) before failing with
IndexError: index 0 is out of bounds for axis 0 with size 0
. I unfortunately haven't been able to reproduce the error, so assume it must be some quirk of my data, but I haven't been able to find anything obviously wrong –buildings
andenclosures
all look as expected and theuID
s for thebuildings
are all valid. The full traceback is below – I'm fairly sure that the many
SettingWithCopyWarning
s are fine (or at least have appeared previously when successfully runningmm.Tessellation
, but I've included them below for completeness' sake and on the off chance they are related to the error. The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
