It was agreed for 2.0b1 that all std libraries modules would use 4-space indents and no hard tabs. This didn't happen, due to a misunderstanding. Repair that after 2.0final is released (would be sooner, except about 250 files are affected, and that much fiddling carries some risk).

Actually, only part of it was done. The platform-specific libraries were left untouched (see Python-Dev email).
