Here's another question: for extensible types (which
can grow beyond
tp_basicsize), I am guessing you give no guarantees
about the aligment of
the following elements, so it's up to the programmer
to make sure that
tp_basicsize is a multiple of the alignment of
whatever's being put in the
extensible area.

If that's true, I think the docs should say so.
