It may be confusing at first to tell whether this date is yyyy-mm-dd or yyyy-dd-mm. The correct one is yyyy-mm-dd, but it may be helpful to specify this by the first date just to ensure no ambiguity or confusion.

I don't think this is worth it, the ISO year-month-day format is incredibly common and fairly well understood -- for the median reader, adding such a note may be a cause of confusion in and of itself, as we don't qualify the same date format with a note in many other places.

Why would anyone ever use yyyy-dd-mm? There's no ambiguity here, like there is with mm-dd-yy (though personally, I think that format needs to just die, dd-mm-yyyy is far better).

That's fair. I agree! I don't use ISO dates often so I was confused for a split second and figured I'd bring it up just in case.
