I have trouble to compile QGIS from the sources.
I start by following the instructions of the INSTALL file, chapter "Building under windows using msys". It seems that the pre-built msys archive at OSGeo doesn't contain the [[MinGW]] folder required for the next steps.

BTW, I have noted a formating problem in chapter "An overview of the dependencies required for building". I'll propose a patch for it.

Thanks for all the job done for QGIS.

Not quite sure whether [[MinGW]] compilation is still supported

I assume [[MinGW]] compilation is no longer supported. Reopen it if appropriate.
