Author Name: luca76 - (luca76 -) see attachment: above is Windows 1.7 build latest revision from osgeo, below is the latest 1.6.0 official binary. Same WMS-C source. This bug happens in Ubuntu (latest SVN build), too. As you can see, some tiles are missing and not loaded. |
Author Name: Ivan Mincik (Ivan Mincik) Tested on Debian Lenny, KDE Desktop, QGIS trunk compiled few days ago, Tilecache, Mapserver. Without such problems. Can You check server logs ? |
Author Name: luca76 - (luca76 -) Yes. Below you can see the log. The difference is that 1.6.0 sends 20 requests, while 1.7.0 32 requests. This is the log produced by Qgis 1.6.0:
And this from Qgis 1.7.0 :
|
Author Name: luca76 - (luca76 -) I made further tests. I discovered that in tilecache.cfg these resolutions works both in QGIS 1.6 and 1.7:
this works correctly only in QGIS 1.6:
maybe some incorrect calculation in QGIS 1.7 ? |

Sorry, not immediately. We are using mapserver-6.0.0-beta6. Maybe in the new release of Mapserver there could be something different or new... |
Author Name: luca76 - (luca76 -) We exposed our wms-c tile service, only the map with problems: http://webapps.comune.trento.it/tile test it. For me it is working on Qgis 1.6, not on 1.7 (some tiles not loaded). |
Author Name: Giovanni Manghi (@gioman) confirmed on trunk/Ubuntu |
Author Name: luca76 - (luca76 -) Now it seems fixed thanks to . Zanollim, can you confirm this so we can close this bug? |
Author Name: michele zanolli (michele zanolli) I confirm, now all WMS-C tiles are visible in the map! Thanks to all,

Assignee: Jürgen Fischer
I have some WMS-C layers served from tilecache + mapserver.
If I open these layers with qgis 1.6 all is OK
If I open these layers with qgis 1.7 (trunk) some tiles are not drawn. Is this a bug? Can anyone try WMS-C tilesets with qgis 1.7?
thanks,
michele
