It would very useful to have an OWS option inside Qgis projects to indicate proxy servers for Qgis Server.
Currently the GetCapabilities Onlineresource attributes are populated from the server URL providing that serve Qgis Server. In my case I'm proxying WMS requests through another application and I would need to set the Onlineresource to my app URL.

You can insert the url that should be shown in the capabilities document (in your case the proxy url) into project properties->OWS server->Advertised WMS url. Is this what you are looking for?
