Hello to all,

As Grass evolves regularly but on a different time schedule than Qgis, I believe it would make sense to be able to easily know which Grass version is used (easier than the shell) and ideally to switch from one version to another.
I actually use OSGEO4W and the question would first be for those users as by definition they switch versions more often but could also include the standalone setup.

Thanks to all for the great work.

Gen.

GRASS version is now displayed in Plugins > GRASS > GRASS Options > General

We supported both GRASS 6 and 7 for few years to give enough liberty to users to switch to GRASS 7. GRASS 6 support was later removed after discussion on both QGIS and GRASS mailing list.

Wont fix: switching between more versions of GRASS 7, it seems overkill to me.
