The module works fine, just tested on both Window and Linux. Try the attached dem for example.

The fact that you get that message does not mean that the module is not working, it usually means that for some reason the output (or one of them) was not created. This can happen for many reasons: wrong inputs, wrong parameters, problem in the native tool (a GRASS one in this case), etc.

To be sure is a QGIS issue you must copy/paste the log here (from the window in the screenshot or from "processing -> history and log").
