Original Redmine Issue: 15379
Affected QGIS version: 2.14.5
Redmine category:gui

The Layer properties -- transparency window should by default show immediate results as we slide, or when we let go of the slider.
Make seeing results only after clicking 'Apply' an option.
Otherwise it is too old fashioned.

This is more of a feature request.

Layer properties dock panel addresses this issue.

  • resolution was changed from to fixed/implemented
  • status_id was changed from Open to Closed
  • category_id was configured as GUI

There is no "Layer properties dock panel" that I can find, even via Google.

If there is, then please put a reminder the user can see when he does it the old fashioned way, to check the new better way, with a click that takes him there.
