A number of scripts rely on zero-width character(s) (Indic-based scripts, Arabic, etc.), which triggers a failure in the PAL curved placement code.

I've stumbled on this on qgis master (what will become 3.0), shocked I haven't spotted this before now.

Fixed in changeset "769c82b57964c41e0febe7d2848e0925b3e13f53".


  • status_id was changed from Open to Closed
