Original Redmine Issue: 15879

Redmine category:build/install

Good afternoon,

I would like to submit a couple of change requests for the developers consideration.

  1. Would it be possible to use a signed publisher for the QGis software? This is to make installing the software in environments such as ours (which has a lot of security software and vulnerability scanners running) a lot easier to manage.
  2. Would it be possible to limit the use of Batch files within the software? Again, this creates quite a large overhead for system administrators within organisations that have to authorise each batch file that enters the environment.

Thanks for your consideration.

Regards,

Chris Dance
