Following the GeoJSON RFC 7946's WGS 84 implication, OGR loads GeoJSON without specified CRS as WGS 84.
Please do the same for pasted GeoJSON (Edit -> Paste Features) instead of asking once and then again for each layer.

Check you qgis general settings in the "CRS" tab: how is configured in the section "CRS for new layers"?

That is set to a UTM zone for me but it is not relevant to this. GeoJSON is standardised to WGS 84 nowadays. The setting for new layers the user will create is something different.
