Hi,

I have a request that should add some efficiency to those that digitize a lot of grid maps only feature coordinate ticks on the frame. This causes you to guess where the true coordinate intersection is on the map itself.
or
I have had to use the frame of the georeferencer window to guide the intersection at the corner of the window..

Add option for extended cross hairs, this is what 'Global Mapper' does and it is a life saver. That way the X and Y are projected from the cursor and in the utility itself and you don't have to guess.

Something like this would have been useful for this case

Now I am thinking about a different option, crosshairs seem fine until I realized that the references may be slightly rotated depending on the projection the map was created. My current solution is to open the image in Inkscape and draw lines connecting the points that will serve as intersection, so similar to the image I posted above but allowing me to draw the reference lines in georeferencer.
