Original Redmine Issue: 19320
Affected QGIS version: 3.2
Redmine category:forms

Setting "Step" in a slider of the range widget doesn't do anything. I set it up to be 25, but the step remains to be 1. See the attached screenshots.

Hi @alexbruy

In fact this does not seem duplicate of #34394 .

In this case it seems that slider simply doesn't use the step parameter.

If I'm not wrong, slider is just a form of the Range widget, like spinbox or dial.

Anyway, just re-tested again and I can not confirm. Setting step for slider to 10 and it works, same with other value. But maybe I'm doing something differently.

@alexbruy I am just revisiting this as I am facing the same problem. I can't make it work with decimal fields. but works with integers. Is this intended?

Tested with the latest QGIS 3.33 (2ae70eb) using memory layer and custom step works fine for both fload and integer fields. When testing with GPKG I found that even if different step values are set for int and double fields, all fields will use the value set for double field.
