I think about distibuting maps - it could be zip/7z file with qgis workplace .qgs and folders "data" with layers: kml/shp/geopackage/tab MapInfo/links to PG/MySQL bases,
brashes, styles.

There are plugins which provide such functionality, e.g. QConsolidate.
