Processing algorithms are not able to add the output layer to an exiting GPKG or SQLite container without completely overwrite it #27848

Core processing algorithms are not able to add the output layer to an exiting SQLite (maybe others?) container file without completely overwrite it.

GDAL/OGR processing algorithms are not able to do it even with GPKG geopackage file.

Confirmed on 3.4.0


  • version was changed from 3.3(master) to 3.4.0

Fixed in 3.14 (for the native algorithms) -- other providers would need native support for this
