Any chance you could share a project and data to test with?

You should try with a new profile too, you have a large number of plugins which could have a negative impact too.

Tested the same layer in a new project, only this layer but with all my plugins loaded, time to open layer properties is quite similar but opening in "conventional" conditions is quite different.
Checked two different projects and several layers in every project.
Sorry but I can't share the projects.
Thanks for the really fast answer

@cesarcorreo please try with a new QGIS profile, no 3rd party plugins installed. Also if it happens by just loading 1 single layer in a fresh project than please share it.

In a new profile there is no delay. Now the problem is, Why it takes long time in my old profile?
Thanks

Reactivate your plugins one by one, that'll help you identify the one which cause a slowdown. Then get in touch with the plugin author.

(I'd start with autosaver, that kind of delay looks similar to the time it takes saving a project file)

Consider reopen:
New tests on a layer.
time.zip

I tested this file with the followings time results to open layer properties:

This file in the hole project. QGIS 3.12.0. Windows 10 -> 5 sec
This file in the hole project. QGIS 3.10.2. Windows 10 -> 1 sec
This file in new project. No other layers. QGIS 3.12.0. Windows 10 -> 1 sec.
So, how to explain case 1 and 3????

Last friday we were talking about the problem in the Spanish user group in Telegram and some users had the same problem.
We are also talking about the problem in: https://github.com/gregjacobs/Autolinker.js/issues/314

@cesarcorreo can you provide a sample project where this delay can be seen? I can't replicate it with just the data (is fast in a project created from scratch).

I cannot share the project where I tested the problem. (Sensitive information)
I have just created one where the problem exists but the difference between 3.10.2 and 3.12 is (windows 10):
3.10.2 - open properties about 1 sec
3.12 - Open properties about 2 sec
Layer tested: BCN0204P_PUN_ACO_point.

I have just created one where the problem exists but the difference between 3.10.2 and 3.12 is (windows 10):

I received it, and I see a very small difference too... but that is not measurable in seconds. Also I tried 3.10.3 and the time to open that dialog seems the same to me as in 3.12.

In my case is about 1 sec difference. In my real projects is about 5 sec. Tomorrow ill try to prepare another example

I have the same problem. But my time is closer to 20 seconds in 3.12
