Feature description

qgis_process is always using the default location and profile meaning that if the processing script you want to use is elsewhere, you can't call it. Adding the same --profiles-path and --profile options qgis-bin has would remedy that.

A workaround is to set the environment variable QGIS_PLUGINPATH to the directory containing the plugins to be loaded. It must be noted that if there is a plugin with the same name in both the default profile and QGIS_PLUGINPATH locations, only the version in the latter will be loaded.

Hat tip to @SrNetoChan for bringing up this old info.

Outside of plugins, it there anything useful for qgis_process inside a whole profile? So maybe this issue can be closed now. This trick may just have to be specified on the page about the QGIS Processing Executor.

Actually, since qgis_process is relatively new, I tend to consider this more a feature request than a bug.

It's a quite valid one in my opinion. So I would keep it open with a feature request tag, but maybe @nyalldawson has another opinion.
