If the folder of movies has been moved onto a non-HFS volume, ._xxxx.mov invisible metadata files are added to the folder. The retarded QC directory scanner patch thinks these are valid movie files (just checking extension and not UTI, WTF!), so the Movie Player patch tries to play it, and never finishes, because it never starts, breaking the advance to next video mechanism.
Fix: JS code to filter these out. I encountered this for the MAT Screensaver and have a fix there
