GPU temp and freq monitoring and logging

This would be very helpful for 3D tests as the GPU and CPU are always affected by each other, sometimes noticeably like here, where the CPU was noticeably throttling even though itself was not being too stressed by the 3D test GpuTest.

Anyone knows of a free tool that can monitor and log GPU freq and temperature and works on the latest Macbook Pro machines? The ones I found are either outdated or non-free ...
