OK, everything seems to be related to
When I upload the files to the VPS. they are located under "login" folder so I had to change config.base in order for that to work remotely, otherwise, it looks for index....js file under root/assets/ instead of root/login/assets. Changing it "/login/" made it fail locally with vite saying ts file are outside its allow list. weird!! |

I spent most of the day on something that I'm sure is very easy to solve but I just chased my tail until I gave up and hopefully here, I will get the eureka!
A short background, I have 3 folders
projectModels - with all the enums, consts and interfaces - common for both client and server
projectServer - a node server
projectClient - quasar/vue/vite client
I want something simple(?), that the server/client will take projectModels into their node modules and run everything from there, so later when I upload the files to the VSP, they will work smoothly and "independently", with no need to upload projectModels as well.
I tried and failed many things, vite kept taking the files from projectModels folder instead of node modules, telling me that ts files are outside the allow list and more. The weird part is that until this morning, it was working, and I have no idea what I broke. Instead of me describing the so many things I failed doing, my wish is simple, to have 3 folders as described above, and making quasar/vite to work with it locally (and hopefully remotely). any idea/tips/pointers will be appreciated.
Thanks
