to stupid to install?

so I'm really new to linux, and linux on a surface.

i managed to install dkms and the headers, but when i try
sudo make dkms-install
it outputs
make: *** No rule to make target 'dkms-install'. Stop.

try running the command
"sudo apt install dkms"

If it does not work, make sure you are in the right directory
This should allow you to install it.

dkms is installed, but touch doenst work anyways

could you try this command ls | grep -i dkms
