Can opening a link from another app use the last existing blank tab?

Hello,

one thing that bugs me often is this scenario:

• have a single window with no tab left (window still open just an about:blank tab)
• click a link in another app
• the link opens in a new tab, so the tab bar shows, even though I really only have a single actual tab.

Once I'm done, I press d and go back to the empty tab.

I'd rather the new URL opened in the existing blank tab.

Granted, it's a really minor annoyance 😊
