Don't know if this already implemented. Saw someone migrating their firefox session (mentioned in the sessions.lazy_restore issue). Is there something already implemented or should I just hack it myself?

I'm not aware of anything. The best place to add something like that would probably be the importer.py script.

Is it ok to add new dependencies in this? We would need at least lz4 to decompress the sessionrestore.

Would be good to make it optional if possible, but I don't care too much about additional dependencies for helper scripts.

Will split it like hist_import.py is a split script will hopefully have a PoC soon.

Meh got a kind of working prototype (ugly as hell), but it crashes qutebrowser even with smallest migration of only 900 tabs.
Edit:
qutebrowser doesn't crash, but slows down considerably. guess I have to wait for really_lazy_loads, but I will rewrite my session migration script
