I would like a static, fixed, known, ... list of files to ignore -- eg a bundled external library.

Could we maybe add a file .covrignore which is consulted on each run?

Related to #216 and other reports.

Oh, wow. Nice. I just needed this or last week when I included some utility code by a friend (hi @dcdillon) which completely skewed my coverage ratios.
