it successfully installed in December, but now doing install.packages('s2') on a docker image is failing with No Space Left on Device. Did something change between December and now that would cause the install to fail? I'm pulling my hair out. I tried 1.0.6 with the same result.

Error:

/tmp/ccsPRsp2.s: Fatal error: can't write 3888 bytes to section .debug_ranges of s2/s2polygon.o: 'No space left on device'
/tmp/ccsPRsp2.s: Fatal error: can't close s2/s2polygon.o: No space left on device
make: *** [/usr/lib/R/etc/Makeconf:175: s2/s2polygon.o] Error 1

closing as we've discovered it's an issue with a change made by someone else that we weren't aware of.
