Settings are not saving and keeps resetting

We are on the latest version of Auto Tab Discard (suspend)0.6.8.2 in chrome and Edge. We are facing these three issues.

1. We go to settings page, add exceptions or change the idle time. Save the changes . Restart the browser and all exceptions are blank again.
2. On machines where settings are defined, auto tab discard would discard the tabs which are added as exceptions or will not discard the tab at all. This is a random behavior that is happening.
3. Did not find a way to whitelist URLS for entire organization through registry or GPO. The exception URL listed in chrome console only works for ChromeOS.

Multiple users are facing this issue. The memory management of chrome and edge are disabled. Is there are conflict happening with the chrome discard and auto tab discard?
