Unable to build project #1

I've got both major versions of .NET core installed:

Adityas-MBP:bodyspace-api adityamenon$ dotnet --list-sdks
1.1.10 [/usr/local/share/dotnet/sdk]
2.1.302 [/usr/local/share/dotnet/sdk]

However, I can't restore the dependencies because of a missing file.

Adityas-MBP:bodyspace-api adityamenon$ dotnet restore
MSBUILD : error MSB1003: Specify a project or solution file. The current working directory does not contain a project or solution file.

I have the same error on both the workouts and master branches.

Please help?
